One of the great benefits of the 'chromecast' type devices that exist in Spain is that they allow you to give Smart TV capabilities to any television. Google has been the one that has popularized them with its own Chromecast, and now it is the turn of Realme, which has launched its first proposal in this market in Spain: the Realme TV Stick.
With a format very similar to that of the Amazon Fire TV, Realme has launched its Realme TV Stick, a 'chromecast' capable of granting smart functions to a television just by connecting it to an HDMI port. It comes with its own remote and like the Google Chromecast TV, this model comes with its own remote.
The great advantage of this Realme TV Stick, in addition to its price (69.99 euros in Spain) is its software, since it uses Android TV to work. In addition, it integrates all the advantages of Google services, such as support for downloading applications and games.
Realme's 'chromecast'
This is a small HDMI 'skewer' that connects directly to the television, and works with its own operating system, just like the rest of the models from other brands. It has a 4-core Cortex-A35 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and 4K resolution with HDR10+ compatibility. Of course, if your television is not 4K, obviously the image will not be broadcast at that resolution.

It integrates WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 and the HDMI connection is 2.0, as well as a USB connection for power. The control is Bluetooth and has a microphone to use voice commands with the Google Assistant, which is built-in. In fact, it also has a Chromecast function to send content from the smartphone with just a few taps.
By making use of Android TV, it will be possible to download games and applications from the Google store. In fact, the remote will have shortcuts for Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube Music.
