In an ideal world, clothes would wash themselves and appear clean and ironed in our closet whenever we needed them. But, since that is not possible, we have to deal with the inconvenience that the clothes that we want to wear on a specific day are in the washing machine. In addition, to this is added that in winter the clothes take forever to dry.
If it's late at night and you just remembered that the dress you were going to wear tomorrow has not been washed, use the short program of your washing machine (approximately 15 minutes).
In winter, hanging clothes on a hanger next to the radiator (never attached to it) or the fan will save us on more than one occasion.
Another option is to blow-dry. But, only as a last option or if it is about small clothes, since this appliance consumes a lot of energy and will mean an extra expense.
Spread a towel on the floor (preferably thick) and place the item you want to dry on it. Roll the towel as if it were a giant churro, exerting pressure so that it absorbs the moisture from the garment well.
Another trick to make clothes dry much faster is to put a large towel in the washing machine, next to the wet clothes. This will absorb moisture.
Many times these small setbacks with the laundry mean that we are left without socks or underwear. To dry these small items faster, the most efficient way is to use the vegetable drainer. Yes, as you hear it. In this way, you will completely remove moisture from the garment. Afterwards, you can give it one last review with the dryer and that's it.
As impossible as it may seem, the freezer can become our best ally to dry clothes quickly and easily.
Place the specific garment in a plastic bag and close it well. Put it in the freezer overnight. The next morning, when the garment is dry, take it out of the freezer. Finally, iron it to take away the cold.
