TRADE
Cleaning the home and disinfecting all those items that we use on a daily basis become essential to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
From the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) they offer a series of recommendations as a reminder that can be very useful to face the second wave of the virus.
Clothes and mobile cleaning
As soon as you get home, you have to take off your shoes and leave your shoes at the entrance, and then change your clothes without shaking them. Before putting it in the washing machine or in the dirty clothes bucket, it should be ventilated.
The next step would be to wash your hands for at least half a minute with soap and water, deepening the cleaning especially between the fingers and nails.
Next, it will be necessary to disinfect all those elements that are in constant use, such as the mobile phone, keys or wallet.
surface cleaning
For cleaning surfaces, water and detergent must be used, to then disinfect. Try to rub well, focusing on corners, curves and grooves. The virus can sneak into any corner of the home without us being aware.
In common areas, it would be appropriate to disinfect surfaces for daily use, such as doorknobs, television controls or light switches. For this, it is convenient to use a specific product or viricide.
In the bathroom
To disinfect bathroom surfaces, we will pass a cloth with bleach and water in a 1:50 ratio, as recommended by the OCU. We will start the cleaning process with the taps, sinks and drains, to then continue the disinfection with the bathtub, bidet and toilets. The last thing will be the mopping of the floor. Ventilate and let dry
In the kitchen
Dishes should be washed by hand or in the dishwasher with hot water and detergent. As for appliances, handles and buttons, the most convenient thing would be to use a mixture of seven parts of alcohol and three parts of water to disinfect.
treatment of clothes
The clothes you have put on to go out should not be shaken inside the house. The most convenient thing would be to turn the clothes inside out and make a kind of package to put them in the washing machine. Lastly, wash your hands.
We will follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the method of washing the garments, but it is advisable that it be done at more than 60 degrees, especially towels, napkins and sheets. To help disinfect clothes, half a cup of hydrogen peroxide can be added to the detergent.
