No comments Jose Antonio Carmona@josetxu_granadaKodi is an application that offers endless possibilities. With a chameleonic customization capacity, it allows access to local files, DTT channels and even streaming applications such as Disney + or Netflix. And it is the latter, Netflix, which I have tried to install to access it from Kodi.
Netflix can be accessed without leaving the Kodi app thanks to third-party repositories. It is a process that does not require too many steps and that offers the advantage for many of having everything integrated into a single platform. Here are the steps you need to follow to watch Netflix on Kodi.
And the first step is to get the right add-on, for which it is enough to access this Github link and download the version that corresponds to the Kodi that we have installed, either Kodi 18 Leia or Kodi 19 Matrix.
Keep in mind that, although it is a safe plugin, it is still a plugin that has nothing to do with Netflix, so it can always carry a series of risks, although being open source, it has already been reviewed for check the security and privacy terms. Kodi will warn us during the installation process.
You can download the add-on directly from the TV browser or if you prefer from the mobile and then send it with an application like Easy Joyn Go TV to the TV. The process in both cases is very easy to carry out and we only have to enter Kodi to complete the process.

Now it is about entering Kodi and in the left column look for the "Add-ons" section. Click on it and on the right side of the screen a window is displayed with different options from which we are going to choose "Install from zip file".
At that point we must use the file explorer integrated in Kodi to locate the zip repository that we have downloaded and proceed with the installation, so that the Netflix icon appears along with the rest of the installed add-ons.
With the Netflix add-on for Kodi we can access the entire catalog on the television with Android TV. You only need to access your account, for which you can use the registration system with email or password.
And it is at this point, where doubts can arise and that is that we have to log in to Netflix with your account. And although the plugin is secure and uses encrypted connections, some may consider entering their username and password.
Once registered, you can access the entire Netflix catalog in the same way as if you did it from the official application, but now using the Kodi interface. We can move forward, backward, pause, change subtitles, audio and much more.
At this point, it remains to consider what advantages it can represent to use Netflix in Kodi instead of doing it with the official application.
On the one hand, Netflix is integrated into the same application and everything is within reach of a click without having to leave Kodi, ideal if you make intensive use of the platform. In addition, Kodi allows you to adjust the refresh rate of the screen to the fps of the content and thus offer a more fluid viewing experience.
It also allows us to mark bookmarks, as many as we want, to continue playback in that part of the footage. Even Kodi allows you to amplify the volume so you can hear it louder than the Netflix app allows.
And having said all this, not everything is going to be advantages. And it is that accessing Netflix via Kodi does not offer the possibility of downloading the content, at the same time that it presents a less visual interface and does not offer support for content in Dolby Vision.
